We started Kamien Builders with a simple goal: to build with integrity and treat every project as if it were our own. Over the years, we've seen too many jobs where problems were hidden behind quick fixes and shortcuts. That’s not how we work.
Our approach is hands-on, detail-oriented, and focused on long-term quality. We believe in clear communication, honest advice, and strong relationships with every client. Whether it’s a renovation, addition, or a custom project, we take pride in delivering work that not only looks great but stands the test of time.

Meet the Team
Rafal Kamieniecki
Holding our residential builder’s license, our Chief Inspector brings both credentials and an impressive academic background to Kamien Builders. He earned a degree in physics from Furman University in 1999, which we like to believe qualifies him as a rocket scientist, or at the very least, the smartest person in the room.
While he has not officially launched anything into space (that we know of), his physics background means he understands forces, loads, and why things should not fall down. He plays a key role in inspecting our work, making sure everything is built correctly, safely, and up to standard before it’s signed off.
When he’s not reviewing projects, he can usually be found explaining complex concepts in simple terms and reminding us that there is, in fact, a correct way to do things. We’re glad to have him keeping us grounded and licensed.
Sebastian Kamieniecki
Sebastian is a key member of our team and a protégé of Rafal, bringing both discipline and ambition to every project. Since graduating from The Citadel in May 2024 with degrees in Finance and Business Administration, he has developed a strong passion for the building process—from planning through execution.
As a former Division I tennis player, Sebastian’s competitive drive and commitment to excellence translate directly into his work. He approaches every project with focus, accountability, and a dedication to achieving 100% client satisfaction.
Sebastian is currently pursuing the licenses and certifications required to expand our capabilities and continue growing the business.
Lukasz Kamieniecki
With decades of life experience and a strong belief that he can fix absolutely anything, our Senior Consultant brings unmatched confidence to every project. His areas of “expertise” include (but are not limited to) neurosurgery, plumbing, electrical work, engineering, and giving advice no one asked for.
While he has never formally practiced medicine or held a plumbing license, he approaches every challenge with the same solution: “I’ve seen this before” and “It’s easy, just do it this way.” His problem-solving skills are fueled by gut instinct, common sense, and a lifetime of trial and error.
When he’s not overseeing projects from a safe distance, he can be found explaining how things should be done and reminding us that he’s done something similar once before.
We’re proud to have him as the unofficial backbone of Kamien Builders and the most confident man on the job site.
